Description

Empowering Communities and Fortifies Families to End Veteran Suicide.

Walk in support of veterans to choose LIFE. The enemy did not have victory in war, and will not win in the day to day battle for our veteran’s lives. Together we can end veteran suicide and fortify families after service. Live life abundantly with a community that hears, sees and recognizes the sacrifices of our HEROES. Family and supporters of our veterans are encouraged to join. Let’s gather in a big way to show the love and support of our veterans and the USA.

The circle of return from military service to civilian life is a personal and community process. Join a community wide celebration and resources fair as we help veterans and families make the journey back home after service.

Schedule:

Heroes Silkies Walk brings awareness, solutions, and builds a connected community to end veteran suicide and homelessness by providing resources for wrap around care for the whole veteran and their family or support system. The content and event day will be mindful of the multigenerational crowd.
